Healthy Life Club
If you feel you need to lose weight or maybe just tone up and get fitter, then this could be the group for you!
- Have you ever wondered what a “healthy weight” is for you?
- Do you know how much activity is recommended for health?
- What is a “balanced” diet?
- Are you putting your health at risk with your lifestyle?
Most of us think we know the answers, but even if we know what to do, most of us do not follow the advice! Here at West Wight Sports Centre we have the right people to help you. With many years experience between them, our Fitness Instructors are here to help you all the way!!
At our club we will monitor weight loss (if that is what you wish to achieve) and have a short talk each week about various health issues e.g. Heart disease, the link between inactivity and cancer, diabetes, alcohol consumption and much, much more. We will have an exercise class (don’t panic!!) that EVERYONE, regardless of their level of fitness will be able to complete. Remember our Fitness staff are very experienced and are used to helping people with ALL levels of ability.
At the end of our club everyone is invited to stay and ask any questions and we hope this will be a very informal chat time where you can exchange tips, maybe recipes etc.
